This 2 day workshop is for movers who want to go beyond the basics to nurture their creativity within the skills. Day 1 lays the technical groundwork of the basics: rolling, handstand & cartwheeling variations, arching pathways, and an intro to aerial movements. Day 2 shifts from information retention to exploration as we build upon the skills learned in Day 1 to find new creative variations and explore sequencing. Students will leave the class feeling more comfortable to experiment in their own practice and with a creative framework to inspire them.

Berlin - 2 Day Acro Dance Workshop
Sale Price: $150.00 Original Price: $180.00

This 2 day workshop is a deep dive into acro dance for movers who want to go beyond the basics to nurture their style and creativity within the skills.

Day one lays the technical groundwork of the basics: rolling, handstand/cartwheeling variations, arching pathways, and an intro to aerial movements.

Day two shifts from information retention to exploration. We experiment with creative variations and build upon the skills we learned in day 1 by changing entries, exits, and transitions. We explore sequencing & practice short choreos changing elements like speed, spacing, & dynamics to show the variety that a single phrase can have.

This teaches students how to feel more comfortable to experiment in their own practice & gives the a framework for future exploration.

Includes: 1 workshop ticket
Location: Berlin, Germany (studio location will be shared after booking)

Workshop FAQs
What can I expect from the workshop?
This 2 Day Workshop is structured to be equal parts technical and creative. The workshop will be 4 hours each day, with a small break in the middle for snacks & energy refreshing. We will begin day 1 with a warm up and coordination games, then move into foundational skill building covering progression options for both beginners & int/adv students. In day 2, we start to explore to find our own creative variations, play with choreography, and start building sequences together. This two day workshop will give you the knowledge & creative framework to continue developing your practice beyond the class
Do I need prior acrobatic experience?
For open level workshops, no acrobatic experience is required. You should have some body awareness and feel comfortable putting weight into your hands for things like cartwheels, bridges, and kicking into a handstand. You don't need to hold a handstand, just be willing to try!
What should I wear and bring?
Wear comfortable clothes you can move freely in. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended as they make floor work easier and more comfortable (but they're not mandatory). Bring water and a snack for longer sessions. I recommend leaving jewellery at home for safety and comfort.
Where is the workshop held?
The full venue address and any travel tips will be shared in your booking confirmation email. All workshops are held in professional training spaces with appropriate flooring and equipment for the activities involved.
What is the cancellation & refund policy?
If you need to cancel: More than 30 days before — full refund minus processing fee. 14–30 days before — 50% refund minus processing fee. Less than 14 days — non-refundable. You may transfer your spot to someone else up to 7 days before with written notice to zera.circus@gmail.com.

If Zera cancels: In the event of cancellation due to insufficient enrollment, venue issues, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, you will be notified as early as possible and no later than 14 days before. A full refund will be issued automatically within 5–7 business days with no fees deducted. See our full Terms & Conditions for complete details.
Will there be photography or filming?
Some workshops may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. By booking you consent to this. If you would prefer not to be included, please send a written request to zera.circus@gmail.com before the day of the workshop and we will make sure to respect your wishes.
I have an injury or physical limitation, can I still attend?
